A Monsoon Date Trailer: Konkona Sen Sharma Is Full Of Intrigue And Reality In This Short Film!
Konkona Sen Sharma never fails to entice us with some larger than life compelling performance and now, she is back to entice us with the Tanuja Chandra directorial short film A Monsoon Date.

The trailer of the film is finally out and it is full of intrigue and has certainly piqued our interest. The film revolves around the sensitive issue of the LGBTQ community. The film has Konkona play a transgender in the film.
The trailer shows Konkona getting ready for a date against the backdrop of heavy rain. She meets with the nuances of daily life while traveling to meet her date. The trailer ends with her finally meeting her date.

The film revolves around a tale of love, friendship and acceptance. It is written by Gazal Dhaliwal who also wrote the Sonam Kapoor starrer Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. The film was also screened at the DFW South Asian Film Festival 2019.
