Actress Gurbani Gill Shares Her Experience Of Working On The Sets Of ‘Dear Molly’!
Just a year ago actress and debutant Gurbani Gill was majoring in Science oblivious that she would soon be a part of an Indo-Swedish Film. With acting on her mind and having completed her graduation the actress stepped out of her comfort zone in Washington and came to Mumbai for the very first time.

Says Actress Gurbani Gill, “Molly, my character in the film, is someone I could relate to personally. Just like her I left my parents behind and stepped out of my comfort zone to come to India. I strongly understood Molly’s void of not having her family with her and moving to a new country like Sweden.”
A three months trip to Mumbai extended longer during which time Gurbani Gill auditioned for ‘Dear Molly’ and seized the role of the protagonist Molly. ‘Dear Molly’ is a wonderfully poignant story based on a father-daughter relationship. The film explores the journey of a daughter in search of her father in Sweden.

“It was a great experience, I first met everyone along with Praveen sir and I automatically felt so comfortable. We spent a lot of time talking about our different cultures, about Sweden, the different methods of acting and genres. As long as the environment is good, working becomes easy, fun and creatively fulfilling.”, says Gurbani Gill on her experience of working on the sets of ‘Dear Molly’.
Shot extensively in Sweden including Stockholm, ‘Dear Molly’ features Gurbani Gill as Molly who makes her debut along with well-known Marathi actors Alok Rajwade, Mrinmayee Godbole and Ashwini Giri and a prominent Swedish cast comprising Lia Boysen and Chris Holmgren among others.

Produced by Praveen Nischol and Ratan Jain, presented by Manmohan Shetty and Ganesh Jain and directed by Gajendra Ahire, ‘Dear Molly’ is all set for an early 2019 release.
