Akshay Kumar Gets Trolled For His Tweet On The Remake Of Tip Tip Barsa Paani, Here's The Reason Why!
Its the era of remakes in Bollywood. Old classics are remade in new tracks which sometimes do and sometimes do not strike a chord with the listeners. Speaking of remakes, we all know that the iconic song Tip Tip Barsa Pani starring Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon is being recreated in the Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer Sooryavanshi. Akshay Kumar revealed the same through a tweet recently. 

However, his tweet soon invited some brickbats from the netizens. Some people didn't take his tweet well as he didn't mention or tag Raveena Tandon who made the song iconic along with him. Many pointed out that it was Raveena and not Akshay who was the real star of the song. 
Akshay Kumar tweeted, 'I would’ve definitely been disappointed if any other actor would’ve recreated Tip Tip Barsa Paani,a song which has been synonymous with me & my career & I can’t thank Ratan Jain ji enough. At times like these you realize,we may have come a long way but we also go back a long way.' But, soon many netizens pointed out that it was Raveena who is synonymous with the track. 

Currently, the film Sooryavanshi is being shot in Hyderabad. Katrina Kaif will soon be joining the team for the shoot. The film will mark the collaboration of Akshay and Katrina after a long time. The film is directed by Rohit Shetty. Akshay Kumar will be seen playing an ATS chief in the film.
