Alia Bhatt Reacts To Starring In Remake Of Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit's Hum Aapke Hain Koun!
Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit starrer 1994 Blockbuster, Hum Aapke Hain Koun is one of the classic iconic films of Hindi Cinema. Nisha & Prem became an iconic Jodi in the 90s. Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, Hum Aapke Hain Koun went to record highest Box Office earnings in the 90s. 

Recently, at a media interaction, when the question was quipped to Madhuri Dixit that who she thinks will be the perfect Jodi from young crop of actors to portray Prem & Nisha, if HAHK is remade, she was confident on Alia & Varun to be the Prem & Nisha.

When put a thought, that can  Alia & Varun do justice playing the iconic characters?  Madhuri Dixit expressed,  " Alia and Varun can easily play Nisha and Prem, coz she is a very good actress,she can get into any role and make it her own. So yes definitely they will be good."
Madhuri Dixit, "I feel it's the way the characters are written, that is what is important. our writers are the most important part in film making because the way they write the scenes ,the  dialogues, the way they will write the characters that determines the chemistry between 2 actors. You can't create a chemistry,  just because you know each other, it has to be well written,well directed, so for me anybody can play that role."
When put a thought, that can Alia & Varun do justice playing the iconic characters, Madhuri Dixit  quoted,  "Alia and Varun can easily play Nisha and Prem, because she is a very good actress,she can get into any role and make it her own. So yes definitely they will be good."
On knowing that Madhuri Dixit was all praises of her and quoting that she would be perfect to play 'Nisha' of Hum Aapke Hain Koun, the actress was overwhelmed and expressed, "Wow, first call up sooraj barjatya, (she laughed) Well, my first reaction is like shovked. I don't think anybody can be Nisha & prem that was too iconic film, my take on this is, that  its very gracious &  generous of Madhuri ma'am to say that. She is a very very giving person, very supportive and very encouraging."

Alia will be next seen sharing screen space with the evergreen Madhuri Dixit in Kalank. Also starring Varun Dhawan,Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur & Sanjay Dutt, Kalank is set to hit the theaters on 17th April, 2019.
