The eagerly awaited film Thandel, featuring Yuva Samrat Naga Chaitanya and directed by Chandoo Mondeti, is approaching its grand release. Backed by Bunny Vas under the esteemed Geetha Arts banner and presented by Allu Aravind, the film’s production is almost complete, and the makers have now locked in the official release date.
Thandel is set to hit theaters on February 7, 2025. This timing, just ahead of Valentine’s Day, seems strategically chosen to resonate with the season’s romantic spirit.
The release date poster captures the undeniable chemistry between Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, with a breathtaking ocean backdrop that frames the couple in a tender embrace, hinting at the deep love story at the film’s core. This poster, along with the teaser, has sparked excitement, especially among fans eager to see Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi together again after their successful pairing in Love Story.
Inspired by real events in the village of D Matchilesam in Andhra Pradesh’s Srikakulam district, Thandel promises a gripping blend of romance, action, drama, and intense moments. The film also brings together an acclaimed crew, featuring National Award-winning composer Devi Sri Prasad, cinematographer Shamdat, and editor Naveen Nooli. The art direction is helmed by Srinagendra Tangala.
With a stellar cast led by Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, Thandel is written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti and presented by Allu Aravind. Produced by Bunny Vas under the Geetha Arts banner, the film's music is by Devi Sri Prasad, cinematography by Shamdat, editing by Naveen Nooli, and art direction by Srinagendra Tangala.
