Ayushmann Khurrana: This Is A Very Exciting Phase For My Career!
Ayushmann Khurrana is currently on a promotional spree for his upcoming film Article 15 which deals with the grave issue of caste discrimination in our society especially in the rural areas. The actor will be playing a cop for the first time on screen and the trailer of the film has created a lot of hype amongst the masses.  

The actor recently got candid with us in an interview where we quipped him on whether this is the best phase of his career. To this he said, 'I'm just enjoying this phase where I am getting to play different characters and getting to do something which I have never done before. I don't know if its the best phase of my career or not but it is truly an exciting phase for me.'  
We further quipped him on his experience in exploring a hard hitting film like Article 15 where he will be portraying a cop to which he said, 'This is the first time I'm playing a cop. I've only done light hearted films but this is the first time I am doing a hard hitting films. AndhaDhun had a dark premise but as a film it was light hearted. This film has a social message and its the need of the hour. As a country, we need to adress this issue of caste system as soon as possible. Its been more than 70 years and we really need to finish this issue (discrimination on the basis of caste, gender, race and creed). This only happens in our country and nowhere else in the world where we have to deal with this issue of casteism and discrimination.' 

The film is directed by Anubhav Sinha and will see Ayushmann Khurrana playing a cop battling casteism in the society. He will also be seen next in films like Bala and Dream Girl.
