Indian filmmaker Deepa Bhatia has been named one of BAFTA’s Exceptional Breakthrough Talents this year, celebrating her significant impact on the world of filmmaking. Bhatia earned this prestigious recognition for her acclaimed documentary series, First Act, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video.
