Director Shree Narayan Singh Spills The Beans On His Camaraderie With Shahid Kapoor!
Filmmaker Shree Narayan Singh is gearing up for his next release ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ starring Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor which deals with the aftermath of the increasing electricity bills in the rural areas.

Recently when we asked him about his camaraderie with Shahid while working on this film, the filmmaker revealed that, "Shahid is a thorough professional. He used to come to the sets on time and used to work with sheer determination. We used to hug at least 14 to 15 times a day after the completion of each shot. He is very punctual and hard working. If I wanted him to shoot for more 1 or 2 hours even after the scheduled time, he wouldn’t mind."
Singh has also directed the acclaimed Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar starrer ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’. Talking about the similarities between Akshay Kumar and Shahid Kapoor, he told us that, "They both are very professional but made me feel very comfortable on sets in spite of being superstars. They both are equally punctual and have sheer conviction for their work."

Shree Narayan Singh’s Batti Gul Meter Chalu is all set to release on September 21st and also stars Yami Gautam and Divyendu Sharma in pivotal roles. Singh also revealed that his next venture will be a biopic on Verghese Kurien who is known as the ‘Father of the White Revolution’ in India.
