Gully Boy Trailer Launch: Here's How Ranveer Singh Reacted On His Films Working Better Than The Khan Films Last Year!
The trailer of the film Gully Boy starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt is finally out and it is winning heartsball over. The trailer was launched amidst huge fanfare at an event in Mumbai today. 

Ranveer Singh had a tremendous year at the box office last year. Both of his films Padmaavat and Simmba were a massive box office success and his performance was praised by the critics too. But at the same time the big budgeted films of all the three Khans namely Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan saw their films Race 3, Zero and Thugs Of Hindostan respectively fail at the box office and also they did not manage to impress the critics. 
When Ranveer was quipped at the trailer launch today on his films being more successful than the films of the Khans, here's what he replied. He said, ' I am very happy that the films in which I have worked with full determination have done well. It has been a very good year for me. But having said that, I do not like when somebody else's film does not work. I'm a part of this Bollywood industry.  This industry is our bread and butter so I know that everybody who is a part of the industry works hard.'

He further added, ' So when a film, even if it is somebody else's does not work at the box office, I really feel bad.' The occasion also saw director Zoya Akhtar and producer Farhan Akhtar in attendance.

The film Gully Boy is based on the life of underground rappers Vivian Fernandez aka Divine and Naved Seikh aka Naezy. It will be releasing on February, 14th, 2019.
