Happy Birthday Farhan Akhtar: Decoding Why Farhan Akhtar Is The Crowned King Of Versatility In Bollywood!
Whenever you think Farhan Akhtar, you think of those beautiful lines from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Dilon main tum apni betaabiyan leke chal rahe ho, toh zinda ho tum. There is some different emotion with which he says these lines written by his father and lyricist Javed Akhtar. He has explored direction, production, acting, singing and it will be safe to say that he is the king of versatility and a highly multi faceted personality in Bollywood. Farhan who celebrates his 44th birthday today has given us some quality entertainment over the years. Still this man of exceptional talent remains underrated. He also has dabbled as a screenwriter for television shows and advertisements.

He made his direction debut with the film Dil Chahta Hain (2001) which still remains one of the most loved films of all times. It very much revolutionized how we look at cinema. What we search now, Farhan had given us back in those days with this cult film. Farhan also wrote the realistic screenplay of the film. This reflected his unique vision right from those days. The film is still an example of unadulterated friendship. His film Lakshaya (2004) starring Hrithik Roshan did not work at the box office but was praised for its subject.
Farhan Akhtar has not been afraid to make bold choices. He has dabbled as a versatile actor as well. He won hearts as a lead singer of a band in Rock On (2008). Farhan showed varied emotions in his performance in the film. He did a revolutionary performance as he portrayed Olympian athlete Milkha Singh in the film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (2013).
Not only direction or acting, Farhan has proved his niche in singing too. There is some magic in his husky voice and unique sense of rhythm which win our hearts during his concerts. The songs of Rock On still strike a chord with the youth. However the sequel of the film did not manage to impress the audience.
He directed the film Don (2006) starring SRK and Priyanka Chopra which was well received and was a success commercially. He has also explored poetry and writing. Farhan is also a strong advocate of women empowerment and has founded the initiative MARD - Men Against Rape And Discrimination and was also a strong advocate of the Me Too movement.

We wish this talented personality a very Happy Birthday.
