Soon, fans started shipping the actors. It seemed like our prayers were heard when the two were roped in to play a pair in Imtiaz Ali's Aaj Kal.

When they started shooting for the film, soon rumors started to do afloat that the two are dating as the two were also spending some quality time together on the sets.
