Manikarnika Box Office Collections Day 1: The Kangana Ranaut Starrer Opens Up To A Decent Start!
Kangana Ranaut has definitely hit the high note as an actor as well as a director with her latest film, Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi. The film releases today and the masses cannot stop praising Kangana’s performance as Rani Laxmibai. The film also marks the debut of TV actress Ankita Lokhande. The film also stars Jissu Sengupta, Danny Denzongpa, Richard Keep, Suresh Oberoi, Atul Kulkarni and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub.
Well, seems like the film has definitely connected with the masses. The film has reportedly opened up to 15 to 20% occupancy in the morning shows which is quite a decent start. However the film was expected to open up to better response in states like Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan but the numbers are expected to rise in the Republic Day which is a holiday and the coming weekend.

The film also marks the directorial debut of Kangana Ranaut who has directed the film along with Krish. The film chronicles the courageous and inspirational journey of Rani Laxmibai as the brave freedom fighter who fought against the Britishers during the revolt of 1857.
