Mission Mangal Teaser: The Akshay Kumar And Vidya Balan Starrer Will Showcase The First Indian Satellite's Journey To Mars!

The makers of the Akshay Kumar starrer film Mission Mangal have finally released its teaser which shows him as the chief scientist who heads the operation of India's first satellite launch to Mars. The teaser begins by Akshay Kumar saying, 'This is Rakesh Dhawan. Mission Control initiating command for launch.' We're then immediately introduced to the other team members like Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha and Sharman Joshi.
The film is based on India's Mars Space Programme, Mangalyaan which took place in the year 2013 wherein Akshay plays a scientist who was inspired by some ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) scientists who are credited to work on the Mars Orbiter Mission. The stellar star cast of the film is surely noticeable. The film boasts of some talented female star cast like Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha and Kirti Kulhari.
The film is directed by Jagan Shakti. It will be releasing on August 15th, 2019 and will be clashing with the John Abraham starrer Batla House and the Prabhas starrer Saaho at the box office. The poster of the film was released a few days back. While sharing the poster, Akshay wrote, '#MissionMangal ,a film which I hope will inspire as well as entertain. A film which I’ve done specially for my daughter and children her age to familiarise them with the incredible true story of India’s mission to Mars!'
