OMG! Did Ranbir Kapoor's Loss Become Ranveer Singh's Gain?

The trailer of the film Gully Boy starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt have taken the entire internet by storm and people cannot stop raving about their performances in the trailer.

The film revolves around the life of underground rappers Divine and Naezy. The tagline of the film runs by 'Apna Time Aayega.' Ranveer plays a street rapper who fights against all odds to become a well known rapper. Looking at Ranveer's phenomenal rapping skills, we can easily say that this role was made for him. Now we hear that initially, Ranbir Kapoor was offered a role in the film. But since Ranveer Singh was playing the main protagnist, Ranbir Kapoor turned down the role not wanting to play a supporting character in the film.

Well initially Zoya Akhtar had also offered Ranbir Kapoor, the role of Ranveer Singh in Dil Dhadakne Do. In fact, Ranbir Kapoor and his sister Kareena Kapoor Khan were the original choice for the film instead of Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra.

Alia Bhatt was also asked at the trailer launch recently about the similarities she found in working with Ranveer Singh and beau Ranbir Kapoor. To this Alia was quick to answer, ' They have quite a few similarities. They are both superb human beings and are outstanding actors. Both of them are special to me. The only difference is that I'm doing Gully Boy with one and Brahmastra with one.'

Ofcourse, Ranveer showed off his fun side by pulling Alia's leg. He was quick to reply, ' One is more special and the other is less special' which surely got us laughing in splits.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been dating for over a year now and are going quite serious about their relationship. The families of the couple too have bonded well.

There are strong rumors doing the round that the couple may tie the knot in the year 2020. Seems like Ranbir Kapoor's loss became Ranveer Singh's gain in this case.
