Raahul Jatin Spill The Beans On His Debut Single And His Future Plans In Music Industry!
Raahul who has been training in classical music under his father’s (Jatin Pandit) strict tutelage from a tender age of 5 and credits his sound foundation to him recently made his debut with his single Aankhon Ke Ishaare which was released on Zee Music Company. Raahul’s smooth & soulful vocals allow him to blend into different genres of music - from light classical to western music, from Bollywood songs to Pop music. He plays the piano and guitar, as well as produces the music for all his compositions. His training in dance, acting & fitness (Taekwondo and Gymnastics) makes him adept as a wholesome performer.  Apart from training in music he has taken up formal training in Bollywood freestyle dance from Shiamak Davar and acting from Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in Los Angeles.

In conversation with Elfa World, Raahul spill the beans on his debut single and more about his plans in making a career as a playback singer and composer.

1) Aankon ke Ishare is doing really well ? Did you expect this kind of response?

Actually I really didn't think about the response, I just did my best and i did pretty well I think. I have made a cool song, also the dancing part I have worked hard so I think I have accomplished what I thought and its doing well too. But I really didn't think much of response at the outset or while at it to be very honest.

2) Are you looking at a career as a music composer or playback singing ?

I love to do both singing and composing so i would love to pursue both. Also in future everything is moving towards singles and its becoming more and more like in the west. So I think I should do both as singing and composing both are equally Important and I want be excellent in both.

3) How did you manage to dance so well in the music video ?

Firstly thank you very much if you think I danced well, so we had seven days of rehearsals before shooting the video also I was practicing at home, by the time we go to shooting it. I knew whole choreography by heart since I enjoy dancing; I loved doing that in video. Also I have taken training from Shiamak Davar for a couple of years, perhaps that helped me.
4) Was shooting the video a better experience for you or scoring the music?

I love both. The satisfaction of singing the song, producing it nicely is amazing and makes you very very happy and same goes for shooting the video also. I was little nervous in the beginning but it went smoothly. By the end of it I was very proud that every fell in place, so yes by efforts and dedication the experience was just amazing.

5) What kind of music do you dig?

To be honest I love any music which sounds cool. There are may genres so its difficult to say which one is best so if something sounds cool I like it. Every genre is unique in its space so I like Charlie Putt's music I like romantic songs, Arijit's songs so its a mix.

6) If you are to remake one bollywood number which one would it be ?

In case of remake I think I will remake Mai Koi Aisa Geet Gaau its one the most cutest innocent and sweet song I don't think anyone has remade it. I would loved to do it.

7) Other than your dad, who is your favourite music composer in Bollywood ?

I think Pritam sir is great Vishal - Shekhar sir - they are amazing. Arko too has made some good songs. To be successful there  should be something unique about you. So yes they have it they own it.
