Ranveer Singh Shares The Iconic Victory Of Kapil Dev And The Indian Cricket Team At The 1983 World Cup Along With His Prep For The Film!
Ranveer Singh will soon be seen stepping into the shoes of former skipper Kapil Dev in the film 83 which will depict the victory of the Indian Cricket Team at the 1983 World Cup. The entire cast is currently on a shooting spree for the film. On this day, in the year 1983 the Indian Cricket Team lifted the World Cup so it came as no surprise when the makers decided to share the making of the much awaited biopic on this event. Ranveer took to his social media to share a glimpse of the prep for the film. 

We get to see Kapil Dev and his team lifting the World Cup in the video. Then we see Ranveer Singh prepping hard for the role. We also get a glimpse of other cast members like Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Raj Bhasin and Ammy Virk prepping for their role. Filmmaker Kabir Khan can be seen overlooking the prep for the actors. 

The victory of Team India on June 25th, 1983 will forever remain a historic event for the country. Ranveer is training hard under Kapil Dev for the role. He captioned the lovely video as, 
Recently it was also annoumced that Ranveer's real wife Deepika Padukone will also play his reel wife, Romi Dev in the film which has further raised our anticipation for the film.
