Ranveer Singh Starrer Simmba Defeats The Shah Rukh Khan Starrer Zero Poorly At The Box Office!
Seems like 2018 ended in an impressive note for the box office. The Ranveer Singh starrer Simmba cannot stop roaring as it has garnered Rs 124 crores in just five days defeating the SRK starrer Zero miserably at the box office. The numbers are expected to grow higher for Simmba while Zero is just showing a steady growth.

Simmba had managed to beat Zero in just four days entering the 100 crore club on its fourth day itself. The SRK, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif starrer garnered Rs 89 crore after 11 days which the Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan starrer had managed to achieve within four days itself.

Film analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted,
While Simmba did not see a massive first day opening, it managed to recover the same on the Saturday and Sundays to the fullest. The positive word of mouth and the critical acclaim seemed further to work wonders for the film. While similarly, the rave reviews and the negative criticism of the plotline for Zero added to its downfall. Now its just to wait and watch how the fate of the two films will take a turn as the New Year finally commences.
