Sara Ali Khan is definitely on a roll. The young actress is receiving a lot of praise for her debut performance in the film Kedarnath and is gearing up for her second film, the Rohit Shetty directorial Simmba.

In a fun interview, the actress spoke to us about the praises she has been receiving for her debut performance in the film Kedarnath. She told us, "I feel comparisons of my performance with my mother is visually inevitable. But, if you will be comparing my work to my mother, its a thoroughly humbling compliment."
She further revealed, "Its a beautiful thing to hear because I look up to my mother both as a human being and as an actor. When it comes to the reviews you all are talking about, Kedarnath is the love of my life. Its a passion project for me. So then, when I'm being appreciated, it you really feel grateful. I really want people to get attached to Kedarnath but as an actor and as a newcomer, apko apka aukat pata rehna chahiye ki kitna apke haath pe hain. I cannot write or direct a film, I can only do what is in my hands which I have done."

She went on to add, "If people are liking my work, I am really grateful. I wish that my film was loved as well. There are people who are appreciating the film At the end of the day, its bit sad that there are reviews that are not lovely about the film. I cannot make the disparity between myself and the film. But even the hardcore people who are tearing down the film are writing well about me toh kuch na kuch sahi kiya hoga (smiles). "

Sara will soon be seen in her second film Simmba where she plays the love interest of Ranveer Singh who plays the lead role of a cop, Sangram Bhalerao.
