Siddharth Malhotra’s Kaafir Bags Big Honours!

Producer-creator Siddharth Malhotra has consistently proved his deep understanding of good cinema  and respected the sensibilities of serious movie goers. His recent web-series Kaafir took the OTT platform by storm by offering  a story which was compelling, sensitive and real. At the recently held Gold Awards in Mumbai, Siddharth  received immense critical acclaim and Kaafir brought home multiple awards. The web series bagged the Best Web Series OTT (Critics) award at the prestigious award function along with  Best Actor OTT Female (Critics) award for  lead actor Dia Mirza.

“Kaafir is a very special story, not just because of the script and the actors but because of the message it delivers and the reality it showcases. It upholds that humanity is the biggest religion and we must be true followers. Receiving these awards for the show has reinforced my belief in the audiences and the content industry yet again. The Producer-director  has always set the bar high with every project he has taken on. Whether it was creating Dil Mil Gaye or Sanjivani at a time when these genres were   unexplored. His other venture  Hichki, was  rejected by several production houses but had a great run at the box office.  Siddharth has always understood the tastes of people who like to watch good cinema.
