Simmba starring Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan is roaring at the box office. The film has been received well by the critics and the masses. The performances of Ranveer and Sara are being appreciated by everyone. The film garnered Rs 20.50 crore at the box office on its opening day. The film attained Rs 23.50 crore on its second day. In totality, the film has garnered Rs 44 crore at the box office. The film has been termed as a complete entertainer. The songs have also become a chartbuster.

Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan's chemistry is also being appreciated. The film has also been termed as Ranveer Singh's biggest opening till date. Ranveer Singh was appreciated for his performance as the menacing Alauddin Khilji too for the film Padmaavat earlier this year. The actor stole everyone's hearts too with Simmba. 
Seems like marriage has changed him for the better. The film revolves around the badass cop Sangram Bhalerao who turns a man with a mission after a tragedy strikes.

Simmba also gets an added advantage with no big releases lined up for the next two weeks. The film has managed to defeat SRK's Zero too at the box office.

The film also stars Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana and Siddharth Jadhav in pivotal roles. The film markes the first collaboration of Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty. The film is produced by Karan Johar.

The film has two blockbuster cameos by Ajay Devgn in the film as Bajirao Singham and by Akshay Kumar as ATS officer Veer Sooryavanshi in the film.
