Varun Dhawan’s Baby John Brings Together Action Masters from Across the Globe

As the countdown begins for the Christmas release of Baby John, excitement is at an all-time high. Directed by Kalees, the film promises a larger-than-life cinematic spectacle, thanks to the collaboration of eight international action directors who have choreographed its jaw-dropping action sequences.

The stellar team—Anl Arasu, Stunt Silva, Anbariv, Yannick Ben, Sunil Rodrigues, Kaloyan Vodenicharov, Manohar Verma, and Bronwin October—has created eight massive action scenes, each helmed by a different director. This unique approach ensures every sequence carries its own distinct style and thrill.

Leading the charge is Varun Dhawan, joined by Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jackie Shroff, in a film that promises to seamlessly blend high-octane action with emotional depth.

Sharing his experience, Varun Dhawan said, “The scale of action in this film is massive, and I’ve personally performed nearly all the stunts myself, with minimal use of a body double. Working with Kalees was a challenge in the best way—he pushed me to explore my physical limits every day. One of the most demanding scenes had me hanging upside down for over six hours, which tested my endurance like never before. I remember Atlee stepping in at one point to remind us to prioritize safety and not let the pursuit of perfection lead to unnecessary risks. It’s been a tough but fulfilling journey.”

Director Kalees spoke about the ambitious collaboration, stating, “We were fortunate to have assembled a team of eight renowned action directors, each bringing their unique expertise to craft distinct and thrilling fight sequences.
