Vicky Kaushal Spills The Beans On Playing Major Vihaan Shergill In The Film Uri:The Surgical Strike!
Vicky Kaushal is gearing up for his upcoming film, Uri: The Surgical Strike. The actor plays Major Vihaan Shergill in the film, the officer who led the surgical strike in Pakistan and is currently on a promotional spree for the film. 

The actor got candid with us on the challenges he faced while essaying this role. Talking to us he said, ' It was the most exhausting experience I ever had in my life. It took six to seven months of prep time and two and a half months of continuous shooting out of which about majority of the scenes were action based which was really tiring. But in retrospect you feel that you won't get an opportunity like this.'
He further added, 'As the release date is nearing, it is a little nerve wrecking as to whether the film will work or whether people will come to watch it but we know for a fact that we did not have more to give on the film. All the blood and sweat that we had, we gave into this film. We will respect the decision of the audience.'

The film also stars Yami Gautam and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles. The film is directed by Aditya Dhar and will be releasing on January 11th, 2019.
