The pooja ceremony for H. Vinoth’s much-anticipated, yet-to-be-titled directorial, Thalapathy 69, was held in Chennai on Friday. This film, backed by Venkat's KVN Productions, marks a significant chapter not just in the producer's illustrious career but in Vijay's as well.
Thalapathy 69 will be Vijay's swansong in cinema, as the beloved star is widely expected to enter politics after the film’s release. Known for his powerful performances in films like Master and Mersal, Vijay has enjoyed a loyal fan base and critical acclaim throughout his career.
