Binte Dil From Padmaavat Is A Unique Love Ballad!
Posted on 02 Feb, 2018

After Alauddin Khilji’s dance song Khalibali, it is the love ballad Binte Dil which makes us applaud the music weaving skills of the Padmaavat director. The makers of period-drama Padmaavat have released the video song and we are taken back to the moments when we could not stop gushing over Malik Kafur aka Jim Sarbh and his obsession with Khilji portrayed by Ranveer Singh while watching the magnum opus.
After a horde of songs in the last year and half where Arijit Singh was sleep walking through most of them, this is one song where he is in all his glory. Penned by A M Turaz, this will surely find a place in your playlist.
But what makes this track special is the hot chemistry is displays between the unusual pairing of Jim Sarbh and Ranveer Singh.
Padmaavat, which released amid violent protests on January 25 after months of controversies, features Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmini, Shahid Kapoor as Maharawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji and is based on the 13th century poem by Malik Mohammad Jayasi.
