Shoojit Sircar Shoots A Special Ad With MS Dhoni And Pankaj Kapoor!

Shoojit Sircar, the ace feature and ad filmmaker, has had a dream shoot in Shimla recently. He shot for a commercial with two men that he absolutely loves. Indian cricket legend MS Dhoni and acting legend Pankaj Kapoor acted together for the first time for this ad film.

Shooting in the beautiful landscape and relaxing climes of Shimla, this ad becomes special for the prolific Sircar for two reasons. He has admired Pankaj Kapoor and his body of work, and talking cricket with MS Dhoni is one of the perks that his job as ad filmmaker brings. “This ad was a lot of fun to shoot. I have always wanted to work with Pankaj ji, as I consider him a maestro of his craft. I got a chance to work with him finally for this commercial. This is the second time that I have shot with MS Dhoni. Each time we get together we banter over sports and exchange our sporting stories. The three of us enjoyed every bit of the ambience and work during this shoot.”

Work and play meet rarely, and when it does, Sircar surely makes the most of it. Shoojit Sircar has recently delivered the critically acclaimed hit October with Varun Dhawan, and is currently working on his next film.
