Confirmed! Sonam Kapoor And Anand Ahuja To Tie Knot On 8th May,2018

Sonam Kapoor's and Anand Ahuja's wedding are all set for their big fat wedding which is scheduled for May 8, confirmed a joint statement from the Kapoor and Ahuja families.

A joint statement released by the two families read,"The Kapoor & Ahuja families, take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam & Anand. The wedding will take place on the 8th of May in Mumbai . Since it is an intimate affair , we request you to respect the family's need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love,as we celebrate this special moment in our lives."

Earlier, the couple were considering a destination wedding and Switzerland was their first choice. However, their family later decided to hold the wedding ceremony at a heritage bungalow in Mumbai.

Sonam and Anand's wedding will be an intimate affair with only close friends and relatives in attendance.

Soon after Anushka tied the knot with Virat Kohli, the rumours of Sonam and Anand's wedding started doing the rounds. But now we hear that its finally happening and we can't wait to see our 'Veere' Sonam as a bride.

Apart from her wedding preparations, Sonam Kapoor is also busy with promotional duties of Veere Di Wedding, which releases on June 1. Sonam will also walk the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival on May 14 and May 15.
