Pankaj Udhas's daughter, Nayaab Udhas, took to Instagram to announce the heartbreaking news of his passing. "It is with a heavy heart that we share the sad demise of Padmashri Pankaj Udhas on February 26, 2024, after battling a prolonged illness. The Udhas family", her statement conveyed. His funeral is scheduled for Tuesday, February 27, in Mumbai.

Born on May 17, 1951, in Gujarat, Pankaj Udhas rose to prominence during the vibrant musical eras of the 1980s and 1990s.
