Sometimes it is truly easy to let bygones be bygones. Such is the case with Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt. When Alia Bhatt started dating Ranbir Kapoor who is also the ex boyfriend of Deepika Padukone, it was rumored that there have been a fallout between the two actresses with the same rumor commencing with Alia and Katrina Kaif who also dated Ranbir. But the two let bygones be bygones as they appeared together in the first episode of Koffee With Karan 6 and bonded well with not even one ounce of awkwardness between them.

Deepika Padukone celebrates her 33rd birthday today and on this occasion Alia Bhatt took to her insta story to post a beautiful birthday wish for Deepika. She shared a picture of the two from the show Koffee With Karan and created a cute birthday crown emoji above Deepika's head along with a cake emoji. She wrote,
Well, these two actresses are truly friendship goals and have proved that the past can be buried down for good. On the workfront, Deepika will soon be seen in the Meghna Gulzar directorial Chappak. Alia will be seen in  the Abhishek Varman directorial Kalank, the Zoya Akhtar directorial Gully Boy opposite Ranveer Singh and the Ayan Mukherji directorial Brahmastra opposite beau Ranbir Kapoor.
