Well, when a Bollywood actress gets hitched, the media glare over whether the actress will change her surname on her social media is always there. However most of the celebs tend to add the name of their spouse to their surnames. Sonam Kapoor was one of those celebs who took her husband's surname after marriage and changed her social media name to Sonam K Ahuja. But recently Sonam Kapoor once again changed her username in all of her social media accounts which sent the entire internet into frenzy. 

No, we are not kidding, Sonam Kapoor is now Zoya Singh Solanki in all of her social media accounts. This led fans confused as to why the actress suddenly changed her username on her social media. Well, we might know the reason. Sonam has changed her name on all her social media to Zoya Singh Solanki as that is her character's name from her upcoming film, The Zoya Factor. 
This sudden name change of the actress was part of her promotion of her character from the film. Well, sure this is definitely a unique way to promote a film. This may surely strike a chord with the audience.

Sonam Kapoor will be playing the role of Zoya, an advertising executive who ends up as a lucky charm for the Indian Cricket Team at the 2011 World Cup. Sonam will be seen opposite Dulquer Salmaan who will be playing the role of the skipper of the Indian Cricket Team. The film is directed by Abhishek Sharma and is based on the novel of Anuja Chauhan of the same name. The film will be releasing on April 5th, 2019.
