IFFI Day 6 shed light on the impact of social media and the need for content driven films.Press conference on the Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF) with Festival Director Manish Desai.

The conference was also attended by Senior Documentary Film Maker Mike Pandey along with Swati Pandey.
“I will be representing the film division as the Festival Director of the 15th Mumbai International Film Festival for Documentary, Short Fiction and Animation films. It will be held from January 28th to February 3rd in Mumbai and this time we will be hosting the entire festival in our own complex because we have now matured enough to develop that kind of an infrastructure.Registrations were open for a month and we got over 790 entries. IDPA is supporting us immensely.In the age of social media, what is the importance of documentaries will be the focus.” Mr. Manish Desai

Open Forum: Crowding the Social Media, Is Documentary the only source of Genuine Information?

The Forum was attended by esteemed panelists including Mr. Manish Desai, Mr. Dheep Joy and Ms. Prachi.
