Actress & an active environmentalist Juhi Chawla is clearly on a mission. Juhi has been creating awareness on the hazards of plastic pollution to our environment way ahead of the ban imposed by the Maharashtra Government last month.
Busy with the ongoing season of IPL cheering for her home team KKR, the actress recently attended a city event attended by people from various walks of life & spoke about the cause close to her heart. Juhi in association with the NGO Rotary Club members vowed to distribute one lakh cloth bags in the city beginning from yesterday.
Juhi who's gone on record about eliminating every plastic item in her house early last year spoke about harmful effects of plastic on humans & animals alike & gave ideas on how every household can bring about a change.
