The Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer film Kabir Singh was in buzz right since its inception. Shahid Kapoor managed to impress everyone with his raw act as Kabir Singh in the trailer. Shahid Kapoor plays a talented surgeon in the film. He becomes a depressed alcoholic once his ladylove marries someone else. The film is being touted as one of the best performances of Shahid Kapoor.
After some soul stirring numbers, the makers have now released the third track from the film. Titled Mere Sohneya, the track depicts the infectious chemistry between Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani. The melodious track showcases their dreamy love story. The song was released today and struck an impressive chord with the masses. The soulful lyrics have been penned by Irshad Kamil and the song has been composed and sung by Sachet Tandon and Parampara Thakur. 

The film is a remake of the Telugu hit film Arjun Reddy which starred Vijay Deverakonda in a lead role. The is directed by Sandeep Vanga and will be releasing on June 21st, 2019.
