Mere Pyare Prime Minister Trailer: The Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra Film Is Hard Hitting, Realistic, Bringing Out The Brutal Plight Of The Society!
The makers of the film Mere Pyare Prime Minister which is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra had its trailer released today. The film was on its news right since its news because of its gritty subject. The film is one of the first low budget films of the filmmaker. 

The trailer commences with a group of slum kids arriving towards the residence of the Prime Minister of India. One of the children ask the guard if the Prime Minister of the country reside here. The scene unfolds to the past in the trailer. 

One of the children namely Kanhu shares a close bond with his mother. The kid does odd jobs to earn a living. He soon starts selling condoms to earn some money. He then goes on to discover the harsh realities of the society.
All hell breaks loose when Kanhu's mother is raped by an unknown person. It is then that Kanhu decides to write a letter to the Prime Minister of India and goes all the way to Delhi to deliver it to his residence.

The film unfolds the harsh and brutal plight the society. It deals with issues like sanitation, sexual violence, caste system and defecation in the society.

The film adds in the excitement by saying, '8-year-old Kanhu living in a slum of Mumbai, writes a letter to the Prime Minister after an ugly incident happens with his mother. Will the Prime Minister meet him?" The film will be  releasing on March 15th, 2019 and also stars Atul Kulkarni and Anjali Patil in lead roles.
