Overwhelming Response To Taapsee Pannu Starrer Mulk On Day 1!

Anubhav Sinha’s courtroom drama, Mulk released today, garnering brilliant reviews from audiences who caught an early show of the film. Starring Rishi Kapoor and Taapsee Pannu in the lead who have been lauded for their brilliant performances, the film also has excellent performances delivered by Manoj Pahwa and Ashutosh Rana.
Focusing on the important issue of Islamophobia which has gripped the country since 1947, the film masterful captures the plight of a family that finds itself in the centre of a terror attack, and how, they are forced to fight tooth and nail to prove their innocence as well as bring to light the blatant stereotype that surrounds their religion.
Although the film has just released, it is clear for all to see which side the audience is swinging towards, as shown by the appreciation tweets pouring in since morning. Taapsee, in particular, has been congratulated for delivering yet another gripping performance, which, according to some viewers, has surpassed her gripping acting in the 2016 courtroom drama, Pink.
