Prassthanam is all set to release this coming weekend and the hype is real! The trailer received wide appreciation from fans and critics alike for its gripping theme. From the looks of it, the movie is going to be a mass entertainer set in a political environment.

The movie is a multi starrer and sees some of the biggest names come together after a long period of time. Prassthanam is a fight for legacy between a father and a son and everything that ensues in between. The movie is a big-budgeted mass entertainer with a story that is relatable to anyone and everyone to an extent, across the nation.

From the looks of it, the plot of the film where there is a clash between two generations of family for honor and legacy is common and relatable in almost every situation and is not limited to politics. This unique characteristic of the storyline creates a mass appeal unrestricted by geography and the audience.
In Prasthanam, Sanjay Dutt plays the role of Baldev Pratap Singh, the head of a political family and Ali Fazal and Satyajeet Dubey play his sons. Jackie Shroff plays a loyal guard to Sanjay Dutt's character in the film while Chunky Panday plays the main antagonist, Don Kaali.

Prasthanam is the remake of a Telugu film of the same name. It is directed by Deva Katta, who has written and directed the original film too. It is produced by Sanjay Dutt Productions and Maanayata Dutt, Prasthanam will open in theatres on September 20, 2019.
