Reruns have taken over Indian television at the moment, with a lot of old iconic shows coming back to life on screen once again!
Amongst all the mythological shows that are making a comeback on television during this challenging lockdown phase, 2013's epic saga Mahabharat, and 2017's mytho drama Mahakali have also been brought back on a current major public demand for such shows to be on air.
Actor Sourabh Raaj Jain who played the iconic role of Shri Krishna' in Mahabharat and Lord Shiva in Mahakali is very happy to see both shows return to the small screen.
Expressing his happiness after having watched himself in the first episode of both the shows last evening, Sourabh shares,"Watching Mahabharat and Mahakali on screen after so long really got me nostalgic! It was honestly wonderful and an emotional moment to relive those memories from both the shows I have been part of while watching their very first episodes all over again. Even the love and appreciation that poured in after the airing of both the episodes was quite overwhelming, because seeing people love the shows even after so many years is truly heartwarming. Also on a personal note, I feel that when we are constantly shooting for our shows, we tend to miss out on actually watching them, so its great to now be sitting back, rewinding time and enjoying both shows from the beginning."
