The 2003 college romance film Ishq Vishk starring Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao was a film which we all cherished during our growing up years. The moment of rejoice is finally here as the film soon has its sequel underway. Isn't this news exciting?

This is truly a happy news for all those who were hooked up to the film and its totally nostalgia reloaded. According to sources, producer Ramesh Taurani confirmed the news saying, 'Yes, we are making a sequel to Ishq Vishk. The story is in the scripting stage and could be about a teenage romance. Hopefully, in the next two-three months, we will lock the script and start looking for the director and cast.' The film was the debut of Shahid Kapoor. The film also catapulted Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao as a popular on screen pair. 

The film also starred Shenaz Treasury and Vishal Malhotra in pivotal roles. The film was directed by Ken Ghosh and was a huge hit amongst the college going youth.
