Vivek Dahiya : Regional Films On My Mind!
Actor Vivek Dahiya's hard work & luck seems to favor him as his second show as the lead protagonist, a first of a kind fantasy thriller on television, Qayamat Ki Raat, has been receiving a positive feedback & also recently joined the top 10 shows on television club in terms of the ratings.

Vivek believes this is only the beginning, he shares, "I'd patiently waited for the right role, right show to come along. It makes sense now. I believe there is no harm in being choosy. I may have come late but also I have an experience, I have not created any restrictions upon myself."

The actor is all eyes on regional cinema, "Talking of regional, we now have Bollywood remake Marathi/ Gujarati & other south films which are some of the biggest hits. They may not be budget friendly but at the same time it is high on content. They're rooted & have a knack of digging out interesting stories from remotest corners of our country. I am somebody who believes to be a part of great storytelling irrespective of how big or small the film is."
Born & brought up in Haryana, Vivek went to the UK to pursue his studies & worked as a business analyst before moving to Mumbai, "I have had exposure to international films & also keep an eye on award winning films at various film festivals & make a point to watch them despite the language barrier, I have loved French, Turkish dramas. There are some socially relevant regional films appreciated worldwide, then why can't we? I would love to be a part of such cinema, for me story is important more than the language, rather it would be a good opportunity to learn something new & widen my horizons."

"I want to do diversified roles that are performance oriented even if there are only 2 scenes in the film. Regional films have the flavor of India. We are a country of many cultures & every narrative has a different feel. I'm more open to regional cinema now."
