2.0 Movie Box Office Collection Day 1: The Rajinikanth And Akshay Kumar Starrer Had An Impressive Start At The Box Office!

The much awaited film 2.0 has finally been opened at the box office. The film starring superstar Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar is one of the most anticipated films of this year. The excited fans have been left elated with the release of the film. Rajinikanth has a stupendous fan following and inevitably this film has left his fans overjoyed. The film has had an impressive start at the box office. 

The Hindi version of the film has managed to garner Rs 25 crore at the box office according to the estimate. Well, the film is expected to earn even more in the weekend. The film has garnered an occupancy of over 90% in South and about 35% for its Hindi version. The film is also dominating the overseas market. The advance bookings have also helped the film to garner good numbers at the box office. The film has garnered Rs 59 lakhs from 35 screens in Australia, Rs 11.11 lakhs in New Zealand from 18 screens and $282, 967 from 258 screens from US.

The film has been released in about 10,500 screens worldwide. Rajinikanth plays a scientist as well as the robot Chitthi 2.0. Akshay Kumar plays the main antagonist PakshiRaj and the film also stars Amy Jackson.
