A Disappointed Taapsee Pannu 'Needs Answers' As She Is Dropped Overnight From The Pati Patni Aur Woh Remake!

Taapsee Pannu has had an incredible 2018 as she wowed the audience by her performance in films like Mulk and Manmarziyaan last year and this year she was roped in to be a part of the Pati Patni Aur Woh remake. But what came as a shocking news, Taapsee was removed overnight from the film by the makers who did not even inform her about the same. This has left the actress shocked and disappointed. Taapsee revealed to a leading publication that her work plan has gone for a toss as she was not informed about this change beforehand. She further stated she would have given priority to other projects if she would have known about this decision. 

Furthur when Taapsee was asked whether she was given a specific reason for this change, she revealed that the director Mudassar Aziz was not given a definite reason and was just asked to take somebody else. She further found it weird that the makers also did not give her any specific reason for this change when she tried to confront them. Taapsee admitted that she is very upset and needs a specific reason from the makers for this decision. 

The actress however wished well for the actress who will replace her on the film. She has stated that this incident was an eye opener for her. The actress revealed that she will be careful before signing a film. 

There are rumors that newbie Ananya Pandey will be replacing Taapsee Pannu in the film and will be paired opposite Kartik Aaryan who will be playing Sanjeev Kumar's character.
