Akshay Kumar And Mouni Roy Promote Gold In Kolkata!

Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy who are on a promotional spree for Excel Entertainment's upcoming sports drama Gold have headed to Kolkata to promote the film.

Akshay Kumar took to his social media account to share a picture wherein Akshay and Mouni can be seen posing together as they land in Kolkata. Akshay tweeted saying,

Akshay Kumar essays the role of Tapan Das who plays a Bengali and Mouni plays his on-screen wife. Mouni who is originally from Kolkata is all set to promote her first Bollywood movie in her hometown. Interestingly, fans can look forward to something exciting coming up as the duo promote the film in the city.

Directed by Reema Kagti, Excel Entertainment's Gold has been creating quite the buzz ahead of its release.

Starring Akshay Kumar, Mouni Roy, Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh, Vineet Singh and Sunny Kaushal, Gold promises power packed performances by an ensemble cast.

India won its first Gold medal as an independent nation at the Olympics on the 12th of August 1948.

Celebrating this historic occasion, the makers are all set to release the film on the 15th of August this year.
