Yesterday saw the beginning of the 24th Kolkata Film Festival and saw Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan inaugurate the ceremony. The event was held at the Netaji Indoor Stadium in Kolkata. The film festival is celebrating the 100 years of Bengali cinema. The ceremony also saw in attendance Waheeda Rahman and Nandita Das. Mamata Banerjee welcomed them to the occasion.

Today Alia Bhatt attended the festival with her parents Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razadan. Alia looked beautiful in a ruby silk mashru kurta embroidered with tilla work and paired it with a velvet ghagara and a hand embroidered organza dupatta.

Alia has a long list of films in her kitty like Kalank where she will star opposite Varun Dhawan, Brahmastra wherein she will appear alongside boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor and the Zoya Akhtar directorial Gully Boy wherein she will be seen opposite Ranveer Singh.
