Anushka Sharma To Open A Veterinary Hospital And Animal Shelter In Shahapur?

That Anushka Sharma shares a profound love for animals and preaches for their welfare is known to all. Reportedly the Zero actress was planning to open an animal shelter for a long time now. The land in Dahagaon village in Shahapur which was on her name has been stuck for the last three years. Anushka holds all the rights to create an animal shelter in the land. But the Indian Law states that only farmers are eligible to buy agricultural land in the country. The project started in the year 2016 and will finally wind up this year. It got delayed due to various reasons.

Reportedly Anushka now plans to build an animal shelter along with a veterinary hospital there. She also wants to build a bungalow for her parent's name on the same land. Anushka's father, Colonel Ajay Kumar Sharma will reportedly take care of the animal shelter. Some sources also say that Anushka's spiritual guru suggested the idea of creating the shelter on the land. Reportedly her spokesperson said, 'We have no official comment to make as of now, regarding this.'

Anushka was last seen in the film Zero opposite Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. The film failed to do wonders at the box office but Anushka was praised for her performance. Anushka has been spending some quality time with husband Virat Kohli lately.
