Ayushmann Khurrana to Star in Yash Raj Films and Posham Pa Pictures’ First Major Theatrical Collaboration, Directed by Sameer Saxena

Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana is set to headline the first theatrical release born out of the newly announced collaboration between Yash Raj Films (YRF) and Posham Pa Pictures. This creative alliance aims to deliver fresh, immersive theatrical experiences tailored for today’s audiences.

Yash Raj Films, one of India’s most iconic media companies, recently revealed its partnership with Posham Pa Pictures, known for their innovative storytelling and forward-thinking approach to Indian entertainment. Together, the two will jointly produce theatrical films starting in 2025.

The collaboration aligns with YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani’s strategic vision to evolve the studio’s production model. Widhani, who is building YRF’s new creative direction as a producer, steps into his second major project following the Mohit Suri-directed young love story introducing Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda.

A senior trade source shared insights about the untitled project: “This yet untitled project is a genre-bending theatrical film. Ayushmann Khurrana, who has made content disruption his calling card, is headlining the first film from YRF’s theatrical collaboration with Posham Pa Pictures. The film will be directed by Sameer Saxena, a partner at Posham Pa Pictures, alongside Amit Golani, Biswapati Sarkar, and Saurabh Khanna. Together, the team behind Posham Pa Pictures has delivered widely acclaimed projects like Kaala Paani and Maamla Legal Hai.

With Ayushmann Khurrana leading the way and Posham Pa Pictures’ reputation for compelling storytelling, this collaboration promises a film that breaks boundaries and captivates audiences in theatres.
