Confirmed! Deepika Padukone's Padmavat To Clash With Akshay Kumar's Padman!
Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmavati' now renamed as Padmavat starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor has been in the news ever since its inception. From controversies to pushing off the release dates, 'Padmavat' has been facing unending issues while reaching to its audience. After a huge battle of getting a nod from the CBFC, the release date is finally locked.
It is now confirmed that the film will finally make it to the screens on 25th January,2018. Senior trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted,

While, the fans have a reason to rejoice, the other side of the news is that the movie will clash with Akshay Kumar's Padman.  According to a source quoted to a leading daily,  "the producers of the movie, Viacom 18, were busy at work to get the film out in the next 18-odd days."

The audiences will have a variety of entertainment this Republic week, as both the movies are high on content and entertainment quotient.
