Deepika Padukone, Meghna Gulzar And Vikrant Massey Meet Acid Attack Survivors In Delhi!

On a promotional spree, team Chhapaak including the lead actors Deepika Padukone, Vikrant Massey and director Meghna Gulzar were in New Delhi where they met the acid attack survivors. Also, present was Laxmi Agarwal on whose life the story of Chhapaak is based. Deepika Padukone essays the character of Malti, inspired by Laxmi Agarwal.

Earlier, the team had travelled to Lucknow where they met acid attack survivors there. Coincidentally, it was Deepika’s birthday as well where the acid attack survivors sang a birthday song for Deepika, cut the cake as well.

Deepika Padukone starrer Chhapaak is a tale of hope and triumph which is all set to unfold soon. While the trailer of the film has garnered a positive response, all the campaigns (Ab Ladna Hai) and motivational videos (Muh Dikhai 2.0) based on the film have also been appreciated by the audience.

Directed by Meghna Gulzar, produced by Fox Star Studios, Deepika Padukone's KA Production, Meghna Gulzar & Govind Singh Sandhu's Mriga Films, written by Atika Chohan and Meghna Gulzar, Chhapaak is set to hit theatres on 10th January 2020.
