Farah Khan will soon be returning to the direction sphere after a sabbatical. It was reported yesterday that Rohit Shetty has collaborated with Farah Khan to direct an action comedy film for his production house. According to sources, Deepika Padukone may team up with Farah Khan for the film. If this happens, the duo will be reuniting after 5 long years. Deepika Padukone was seen in Farah Khan's last film Happy New Year. We cannot wait to see the duo team up again.

According to sources, Farah is keen to cast Deepika in the project. The makers have reportedly approached Deepika for the film. We hear that the female protagnist has a strong part to play so the makers are keen to rope in Deepika for the part. Hence, the talks are still on regarding Deepika being cast in the film. According to a source, 'Once things will be finalised, official announcements would be made.' Deepika Padukone made her Bollywood debut through the Farah Khan directorial 2007 film Om Shanti Om opposite SRK. Deepika shares a lovely bond with Farah.

Deepika Padukone got married to Ranveer Singh last year on November. Farah had a special wedding gift for the couple. She gifted the couple a beautiful momento of their personalised hand impression. Farah Khan is also excited about collaborating with Ranveer Singh. She announced their collaboration by saying, 'Sometimes, the universe conspires to give you what you didn’t even imagine.
