Owing to the positive word of mouth, Soorma takes the weekend's grand total to 13.90 Cr at the box office.

Despite heavy rainfall and World Cup Finale of Football, Soorma earns 5.60 cr. on Sunday, while the movie had collected 5.05 cr on Saturday and 3.25 cr on its release day.

Based on the life journey of Hockey Player Sandeep Singh, Soorma is garnering immense love and appreciation from the audience and critics alike.

After being certified as 'U' Soorma is witnessing footfalls by kids and family in larger numbers at the theatres.

As the film is a universal film, it is been cleared by the Pakistani censor board and Kuwait censor board too.

Soorma is an inspiring true story of the human spirit, about a player, who made headlines for his miraculous comeback after an unfortunate accident.

The film has garnered rave reviews from Bollywood Celebrities and critics.
