Falguni Pathak To Enthral Again At ‘Navratri Utsav 2018’ In Borivali!

Dandiya Queen Falguni Pathak is once again set to mesmerise at Maharashtra’s biggest ground for ‘Navratri Utsav 2018’ in Borivali, Mumbai, held from 10th October to 18th October, 2018. This is the third consecutive year that Falguni Pathak will be performing in Borivali.

Falguni Pathak is the most sought-after performer during Navratri and this year too she will enthral the crowd with folk songs and Bollywood numbers in her velvety voice. 

The announcement was made at the Bhumi Pujan attended by BJP MP Shri Gopal Shetty and BJP MLA- Dahisar, Shri Aslam Shaikh, MLA Malad West, Vilas Potnis, MLA Mumbai Graduates Constituency. Shri Vinod Shelar North Mumbai BJP President, Shri Vishwas Patel - Founder of Infibeam Avenues along with the organizers and local corporators today at Late Shri Pramod Mahajan Sports Complex of Borivali.

Infibeam Avenues is the main title sponsor and organiser along with Showbizz Events which is organising ‘Navratri Utsav 2018’. Shri Santosh Singh and Shri Shiva Shetty are the organisers and other organisers include Bharat Parekh, Vipul Parekh, Jignesh Hirani, Harshil Lalaji, Amar Ghelot, and Mehul Desai.

The ground has a massive 13 acres of area which is expected to witness an average daily footfall of 30,000 to 35,000 people per day, approx. 2,00,000 sq ft wooden dance floor will be created for garba enthusiasts . To manage the crowd, extra security and stringent crowd management measures will be put in place – 200 bouncers (100 men and 100 women), more than 100 volunteers, 100 CCTV cameras, 30 door frame metal detectors, one fire brigade truck with 10 fire marshals, 1000 cars parking facilities, and ambulance with doctors will be available at the event.

Apart from the performance by the Garba Queen the organiser will also hold competitions for best couple, best dancer, best costumes, etc. with grand prizes. The best couple winner will get to take home Hyundai Elite i20.

Falguni Pathak who is celebrating her silver jubilee with Ta-Thaiya this year, commented, “It feels amazing to have completed 25 years with Ta-Thaiya. The journey has been incredible and I hope to do many more performances with them.  Another thing, it is amazing to be back in Borivali. It is all because of the love of the people that I’m here for the third time in a row.”
