Every weekend, there is an interesting array of Bollywood movies that try out their luck at the box office window. While it is the rom-com that continues to be the hot favourite genre for the movie makers and movie goers, in the past few years we have seen quite a few filmmakers experiment with other genres as well.

This weekend seems to offer an interesting treat to cinema goers as not one but two compelling edge-of-the-seat movies as My Birthday Song and Nirdosh will be releasing on January 19.While they are both offer great entertainment value, they have a separate audience set cut out for themselves.

Nirdosh has a more mass appeal with its punchy dialogues and interesting who done it plot. The movie stars Arbaaz Khan, Manjari Fadnnis, Ashmit Patel and Maheck Chahal. The film is a murder mystery and promises nail biting suspense packed with a great music score and thrilling action sequences. It also has a great ensemble cast that is given some great performance in the past, Overall it is a complete package of drama, romance and action to keep the viewers entertained.

My Birthday Song seems to be more cut out for the multiplex audience, who are looking for some intelligent content oriented movie. Starring Sanjay Suri, Nora Fatehi, Zenia Starr and Pitobash this movie is expected to pack in some exceptional performances.

Sanjay Suri in the past too has been a part of content oriented movies such as Jhankaar Beats, My Brother Nikhil, Pinjar, I AM and many others. My Birthday Song to seems to be a movie of a different genre that will offer a lots of unexpected twists in the tale and a complete psychological thriller.
